BROAD FUNCTIONS : As Programming Developer in IT Manufacturing Global Team, be the link between information technology capacity and business objectives by supporting & ensuring the successful completion of analytical, building, testing and deployment tasks of manufacturing application and services development. RESPONSIBILITIES : Definemanufacturing configuration specifications and business analysis requirements together with business users Develop relationship with partners from various departments, working with them to optimize and enhance system capability to support manufacturing control needs Constantly be on the lookout for ways to improve monitoring, discover issues and deliver better value to the business users. Identify, design, and implement systems / applications to meet business process requirements. Work Closely with business unit to performquality assurance, define reporting and alerting requirements to ensure system availability & data integrity Always standby 24.7 to provide support to Site IT on any manufacturing applications related support Qualifications REQUIRED: Master/ Bachelor in Computer Science / Computer Engineering 4-5 years working experience in a Multinational corporationpreferably in the manufacturing electronics sector Good knowledge of software development methodologies, tools, standards and procedures for high quality software development We seek candidate who is dynamic and flexible with high adaptability with changes A good Team Player PREFERRED: Experience in automation industry is preferred Experience in semiconductor industry is preferred SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE Web/API development in the .NET Framework (C#, VB, .NET Core) SQL Server (Scripting, Indices, Views, Stored Procedures) Microsoft IIS Windows/Web Services English proficiency is preferred Project management experience is a plus Additional Information Because Western Digital thrives on the power of diversity and is committed to an inclusive environment where every individual can thrive through a sense of belonging, respect, and contribution, we are committed to giving every qualified applicant and employee an equal opportunity.
