The Role: SAP ABAP/BW Developer

As a Junior SAP Developer, you will under general supervision with few direct instructions, work independently within existing applications to apply systems analysis and design techniques to analyze and evaluate business requirements/problems and implement enhancements. Support systems, applications, and processes to process data and resolve problems for small projects or phase(s) of large project(s), performing tasks. Learn and apply basic knowledge of required tools, developing experience in SAP ABAP & BW solution delivery and support.

Technical Experience:

• Experience in SAP ABAP Programming, preferably Object Oriented
• Experience with a selection of other development objects, for example Function Modules, Data dictionary objects, BADI, BAPI, User-Exits, Web Services Gateway OData Services, CDS Views, ABAP for HANA, Smart forms, Reports, or performance tuning is advantageous.
• Perform testing of system changes and to assist in user testing of changes
• Designing and developing SAP BW data models: Create data models to support data warehousing and reporting needs of the business. This includes developing and maintaining data sources, data targets, info providers, and transformations.
• Developing and maintaining ETL processes: Extraction of data from various source systems, transforming it as per business requirements, and loading it into the data warehouse.
• Design and develop custom reports, interfaces, and enhancements for SAP BI/BW systems using ABAP programming language.
• Analyze and troubleshoot technical issues related
• Developing and maintaining SAP BW reports: Develop and maintain queries, Composite Providers, MultiProvider, Info cubes, ADSO, CDS Views and other reporting objects to provide timely and accurate information to the business users.
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues: Assist in identifying and resolving technical issues related to SAP BW systems. This may involve debugging code, analyzing system logs, and working with other team members to find solutions.
• Documenting technical solutions: Maintain technical documentation for SAP BW systems, including design documents, coding standards, and other project artifacts.
• Collaborating with team members: Collaborate with other team members to ensure that projects are completed on time and to the required quality standards.
• Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in SAP BI/BW and ABAP programming.

Traits we believe make a strong candidate:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Strong understanding of SAP architecture, SAP HANA, Development principles and experience with SAP development tools such as Bex Query Designer/ Eclipse Modelling tool.
• Knowledge of ABAP (RICEF - Reports, Interfaces (IDOC), Classes (Object Oriented), Enhancements (BADI, User Exits), Function Groups, Module Pool, LSMW, Data Dictionary, BAPI, RFC)
• Knowledge of SAP BW data modeling, ETL processes, and reporting.
• Knowledge of SAP BusinessObjects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to demonstrate good documentation skills along with the ability to communicate problems quickly and concisely
