About The Department
UOB Innovation Hub 2 (InnoHub2) is a UOB-wholly owned subsidiary and a Centre of Excellence based in Malaysia, providing Group Business Services (GBS) to support the UOB Group. Started in 2021 with technology application design, development and support, InnoHub2 is expanding beyond technology services to deliver other business services to support the Bank's growth ambition. Job Responsibilities
We are seeking a Senior Developer with strong experience in Investment & Wealth platforms to support development within the QR Management module of a Core Banking system. The ideal candidate will have advanced technical expertise in .NET and SQL, experience working in Windows/Open Systems environments, and the ability to design, build, and maintain scalable banking solutions.

• Lead and develop QR Management modules using .NET and SQL.
• Analyze, design, and implement solutions related to Investment & Wealth platforms within the Core Banking system.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and QA teams to ensure functional and technical requirements are met.
• Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and optimization.
• Support incident resolution, root cause analysis, and bug fixes for production issues.
• Ensure all deliverables follow security and compliance standards.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy robust and scalable software applications.
• Lead architecture discussions and contribute to technical decision-making.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the stack.

Job Requirements

• 6-9 years in software development, preferably within banking or financial services.
• Proficient in .NET framework, including C#.
• Strong SQL development and database design skills, preferably with MS-SQL Server.
• Experience working on Investment & Wealth platforms.
• Familiar with front-end technologies, especially React.js.
• Lead front-end development using React.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript practices.
• Implement and maintain unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks such as xUnit, NUnit, and others.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins.
• Hands-on experience working in Scrum/Agile teams.
• Active participation in Scrum ceremonies and contribution to sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Use of tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar for sprint tracking.
• Exposure to microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
