Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Junior Developer with 3-5 years of experience to support application development within the Core Banking - Investment & Wealth domain. The role requires hands-on experience in RPG and CLP programming on the AS/400 platform, working with DB2 databases. The ideal candidate will be familiar with various core banking systems and comfortable working across AS/400, Mainframe, and Open platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, enhance, and maintain applications on the AS/400 platform using RPG and CLP.
Support integration with Mainframe and Open systems where required.
Work with DB2 databases for data retrieval, manipulation, and reporting.
Assist in the troubleshooting and resolution of application issues in development and testing environments.
Collaborate with functional analysts and business users to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions.
Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and documentation of development work.
Ensure adherence to coding standards and SDLC processes.
Technical Skills & Requirements:
3-5 years of experience in application development on AS/400 (IBM iSeries) platform.
Proficient in:
o RPG (RPG IV / ILE RPG)
o CLP (Control Language Programming)
Experience working with DB2 on AS/400.
Familiarity with development across Mainframe and Open platform environments is an advantage.
Understanding of batch processing, file handling, and error management in AS/400 applications."
