Why does this job exist and why is it critical To support the frontend and backend of web/applications/portal development. What are you accountable for - Design and develop modern Web Portal/Mobile Responsive Web/applications/system. Developing front end / back-end website architecture Designing user interactions on web pages. - Involved in the entire life cycle of development, testing, deployment, and post implementation supports. Creating servers and databases for functionality. Ensuring cross-platform optimization for mobile phones. Ensuring responsiveness of applications. Working alongside graphic designers for web design features. Seeing through a project from conception to finished product. Designing and developing APIs. - Perform coding and testing to deliver best quality applications/services in terms of maintainability, reliability, scalability, and resilience. - Maintain documentation inclusive of integration flow, data, and interface design for the purpose of collaboration with other stakeholders. Deliver unit test according to system requirements to achieve quality assurance. - Perform impact assessment to assess technical feasibility. Work together with stakeholders and architects to deliver best solutions to achieve project requirements. - Perform peer review of technical design developed by other team members and application vendors / owners to govern application design principles and security guidelines What do you need to have for this role For Junior level: Fresh graduate is encouraged to apply. Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as AngularJS, React, and Amber. Proficiency with server-side languages such as Python, Ruby, Java, PHP, and .Net. Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB. For Mid to Senior level: Hands-on experience in developing Web Portal or Mobile Responsive Websites using modern Javascript development for either Front-end or Backend services. Excellent technical knowledge of modern Javascript (such as but not limited to Angular, ReactJS, Vue.JS, Node.js, Bootstrap, CSS, ES6, etc.) Strong knowledge and understanding of Web Technologies for both Client-side and server side. Good to have: Experience in developing, maintaining and optimizing applications with high usage volume of requests would be an advantage. Experience in developing and deploying applications in Cloud platform. Experience / having the knowledge of development using Microsoft .NET / ASP.NET technology will be an advantage. Experience in developing Progressive Web Application (PWA) would be an advantage. Experience in working in the Scrum Team and practicing DevOps would be an advantage. Soft Skills: Be self-motivated, responsible, reliable and enthusiastic team player. Aggressive, multi-tasking and able to work independently to meet tight datelines. Team player, comfortable working across teams and interacting with various departments. Good communications, problem solving skills and able to work under pressure and independently.
