Developer (React JS)

Salary: RM18,000
Location: Kuala Lumpur

Job Purpose

  • Lead project teams from various units to develop and deliver M2U project initiatives
  • Responsible for reporting project progress, managing project risks/issues, managing project scope and timeline, and user expectations
  • Working closely with various vendors and internal units (host products, database, network, infra) to collaboratively deliver project deliverables and meeting projecttimelines
  • Participate and influence in requirement gathering to meet business initiatives within project timeline
  • Deploy, maintain and support current M2U systems (example M2U regional \xe2\x80\x93 Philippines, Cambodia and Papua New Guinea; PFM)
  • Meet and maintain M2U\xe2\x80\x99s SLA and minimizing system downtime
  • Develop and maintain M2U regional codes
  • Lead and manage test scenarios/strategies as part of project deliverables
  • Meet bank\xe2\x80\x99s compliance and governance standards
  • Address and manage audit concerns
  • Identify project issues and provide mitigation plans
  • Provide documentation on implemented project initiatives in areas of system functionalities and setup
  • Maintain and improve good working relationship between users and internal IT units

Principal Accountabilities

  • Service Level Commitment
  • Monitoring system performance and developing recommendation for improvement by evaluating and exploring system capabilities or new emerging technologies as to maintain expected SLA \xc2\xb7 Provide fast problem resolution


Project management Ensure the smooth implementation of projects (new or enhancements) on time and within budget.
  • Constant collaboration with governance teams to ensure project compliance
  • Collaboration with business users for all project related matters which also includes risk mitigation, coming to common consensus on issues and resolutions
  • Project progress monitoring
  • Project status updates to stakeholders
  • Meeting up with business users to confirm on business requirements


Meeting up with vendors (where required) to discuss and clarify on business requirements
  • Coding and testing of project deliverables
  • Implementation activities which includes system setup, obtaining task approvals, documentation, obtaining various system documentation and activities signoffs


Administrative matters
  • Electronic approvals for work related requests eg NETMAN
  • Complying to bank\xe2\x80\x99s tools during project run \xe2\x80\x93 Clarity, HPQC, Caliber RM, RTC, etc
  • Team Cohesiveness
  • Maintain good rapport between team members
  • Encourage knowledge sharing among team members
  • Manages core business users, application vendors and CSC.
  • Constantly in contact with these parties (local and regional) to discuss on any issues raised and to escalate to the appropriate party on any concern
  • Maintain good working relationship with business users (local and regional), internal IT colleagues and external vendors


Escalation of issues.

Updates to Section head
  • Critical issues to be escalated to the appropriate higher levels within IT, CSC or vendors.
  • Constant updates to Unit Head/Section Manager on milestones and/or task achieved.
  • Attend adhoc request from other IT peers on project support
  • Provide the necessary system support
  • Provide feedback on system related matters

6) Working Relationships Internal
  • Business users (eg Virtual Banking)
  • IT colleagues from different units (eg. Host, Network, DBA, Infrastructure, etc)
  • Superior (Unit Head, Senior Manager)

External
  • Vendor (eg. Penril, I2S, Perfectsen, IBM, etc)
  • CSC
