SUMMARY

The role of a DevOps Engineer is a combination of developer, deep knowledge about technical design, tester, and support. DevOps Engineers are an important part of an agile team they need to understand and implement the requirements based on the best technical solution and consider the reuse ability of the developed code.

They are responsible for the technical testing of the code and need to use automation wherever possible. The expectation is that DevOps Engineers are team players. They share their knowledge in the team and bring their experiences in.

As part of a DevOps Team, they solve incidents based on tickets, take care of a proper monitoring of the system and implement CR\xe2\x80\x99s after the Go Live of a product. On top of it they bring improvement ideas in the discussions to increase quality and develop the product further.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipeline and infrastructure in all environments.
• Design, improve and implement automation for CI/CD to reduce TOIL of team.
• Monitor production infra and provide support on production incidents.
• Involvement in development and maintain complex web application running in productions.
• Ensure adherence to best practices on DevOps.
• Team player

WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE

• Experienced on CI/CD tools, e.g., Jenkins, Kustomize
• Experienced on troubleshooting and knowledge of any monitoring tools, e.g., Splunk
• Experienced in software development, Java or React.
• Experienced in version control (GIT)
• Cloud knowledge, e.g., Azure
• Knowledge of containerization. (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of authentication & authorization.
• Knowledge of any relational databases.

WHAT IS GOOD TO HAVE

• Knowledge of Nx/Next.js/React
• Knowledge of Spring Boot
• Knowledge of any software quality scan.
• Knowledge of GitOps, e.g., ArgoCD
• Experienced on authentication implementation, e.g., OIDC / SAML2.0
