About the job DevOps EngineerAbout the company:Our client, the largest public bus provider in Johor, was established with the aim of delivering an efficient and sustainable public transport system for the community.Job Responsibilities:

• \xef\xbb\xbf\xef\xbb\xbfInfrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop, maintain, and continuously improve Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts and configurations to manage infrastructure efficiently.
• Automated Deployment: Design, implement, and maintain automated deployment pipelines, ensuring rapid and reliable software releases.
• Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Establish and maintain robust monitoring systems for applications and infrastructure, quickly identifying and resolving issues.
• Security: Collaborate with security teams to implement security best practices throughout the development and deployment processes.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development and IT teams to streamline processes and improve software development practices.
• Scalability: Plan and implement scalable solutions to support the growing needs of our applications and services.
• Performance Optimization: Continuously analyze and optimize system performance for our applications.
• Documentation: Create and maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for deployment processes and infrastructure configurations.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor\'s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
• Proficiency with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) and infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
• Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools and practices.
• Experience with AWS cloud platforms.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude toward troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of security best practices in the context of DevOps.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• DevOps certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Docker Certified Associate) are a plus
