SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

Working as part of the platform operation team your day will focus on ensuring that platform, development and releases run as intended. Problem solving is a key focus in this role, it will be your responsibility to manage any alerts or concerns that have been raised from the platform and guide your colleagues in resolving any issues. The team\'s goal is to allow the organization to create high-quality services and minimize the chance of potential software/platform issues.

This remote/ homebased position should be within Malaysia.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended
• Own the release process, responsible for controlling the software\'s deployment.
• Work closely with Support, and QA to support their needs and resolve issues
• Perform root cause analysis for production errors
• Investigate and resolve technical issues
• Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance
• Acting as a day-to-day escalation point for L3 support engineer and QA engineer
• Creating and distributing release notes
• Set up monitoring and alerting for the production environment
• Managing transition between environments e.g., Staging to Production
• Log analysis

RELATED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Education such as a Bachelor\'s degree
• 5 years or more of related experience
• Problem-solving attitude
• AWS and AWS serverless knowledge
• CI/CD experience
• Being a self-starter, thriving in a team environment and accepting constructive criticism
• Experience in being the senior member of a team and structuring the work of others
• Experience working in DevOps for a software or cloud solution
