We're looking for a DevOps Engineer to help us build and run reliable, secure, and scalable

platforms. You'll partner with developers to automate delivery, improve observability, and

streamline infrastructure using modern DevOps practices. If you love learning, take

Key Responsibilities

Job Requirements

Must-have

Provision and manage infrastructure using IaC, with repeatable environments across

dev/stage/prod.

Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable frequent, safe, and

auditable releases.

Operate containerized workloads (Docker Swarm/Portainer/Traefik) and drive best

practices for deployment, routing, and resilience.

Strengthen reliability and security: monitoring/alerting, incident response,

backup/restore, secrets and access management, and change governance.

Collaborate across teams to clarify requirements, raise risks early, and turn ambiguous

problems into well-scoped work.

Continuously improve: reduce toil, automate repetitive tasks, refine runbooks, and

document clearly.

Champion quality through code reviews, testing strategies, and attention to detail in

configs, pipelines, and infrastructure.

2+ years of hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, Docker Swarm, Portainer,

and Traefik.

Linux system administration proficiency (e.g., systemd/services, users &

permissions, package management, networking basics, filesystems, and troubleshooting

across common distros).

Scripting ability (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation and tooling.

Solid grasp of DevOps methodologies and tooling (version control with Git, CI/CD

concepts, environment promotion, artifact management).

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; able to break down complex systems

and find pragmatic, reliable solutions.

Nice-to-have

Proactive ownership: you self-start, manage priorities independently, and follow

through to completion.

Clear communication and collaborative mindset; able to explain trade-offs and work

well with engineers and stakeholders.

Experience with a major cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), Linux systems, basic networking, and

security best practices.

Observability stacks (Zabbix/Prometheus/Grafana), secrets management (Vault), and

configuration validation/testing.

Familiarity with containers beyond Swarm (e.g., Kubernetes) or progressive delivery

patterns (blue/green, canary).

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM13,000.00 per month
