KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Workshop Operations Conduct an extensive diagnostic procedures to determine the root cause of the vehicle\'s issues and perform test drive to ensure the quality of the repair job. Working closely with dealer support on complex vehicle issue(s) via Xentry Portal Provide technical support and monitor checking of vehicle according to Final Control SOP, to ensure all listed points have been checked by technician and assist to elevate Xentry Tips case to MBM RTS for technical assistance. To ensure that the jobs are performed on customer\'s cars as per MB Standards and issues are addressed conclusively in the First Fix Visit (FFV) of the car. To ensure repairs are performed within the stipulated time, to ensure timely completion of repairs and delivery to customer. To ensure emphasize periodic MB Special Tools & Workshop Equipment apply all work job scope. To keep work area clean, tidy and in safe condition in order to uphold the manufacturers and company image. Ensure equipment and facilities in the workshop are maintained and calibrated as per the standards. To take an active part in upholding the Health and Safety policy of the company To hold and ensure that any workshop concerns or idea are recorded and reported back to the relevant persons and team member. To coordinate and monitor closure of warranty job cards within stipulated time as per MBM warranty guidelines. To handle cases such as : product liability case, 0km / NCD case, Come back job (CBJ) case & VVIP / unique / royalty customer case with explanation Customer Service Maintain a good relationship with clients by educate them on vehicle\'s system behavior and system operation by performing join test drive. Assist and attend to walk in customers regarding the subjective vehicle complaint issue. To provide excellent customer experience, to support the achievement of CSI target set by MBM. People & Target Management To ensure that the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) is followed by all team members fully. Brief the technician on the daily vehicle throughput and plan for the repair schedule. To manage team members effectively so that each team member achieves his targeted productivity, efficiency and revenue. To train and develop team members as per qualification technician level. To ensure team members follow the warranty guidelines of the vehicle manufacturer and guide them wherever necessary. To guide team members & to ensure correct/proper write up of \'Findings & Solutions\' written in Job Card To act as backup for process controller as and when required To coach and develop other technicians within the workshop needs as per MBM qualification certificate level To ensure all related service/technical information is passed out and understood by all technicians. Identify training and development needs within the workshop members. To keep the team constantly motivated so that a conducive working atmosphere is ensured / maintained. Improvements Keeping abreast with new technology and system for automotive industry by updating the latest technical awareness, recall campaign and service measures. Liaise with workshop in charge/Service Manager for final quality control of the work performed by the team. JOB REQUIREMENTS : MUST be a Certified Diagnostic Technician , by Daimler/ Mercedes-Benz Possess solid 5 years relevant diagnosis working experience in growing capacity with min 1 year at CDT level.
