Job Overview

We are seeking a

Die Assembler

to join our Production Engineering / Tooling team. The role involves

assembling, testing, improving, and maintaining stamping dies

to ensure all parts meet quality standards before mass production.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble fabricated parts into complete tools and dies according to technical drawings. Conduct tryout and improvement activities; identify defects and arrange corrective actions. Continuously improve tools and dies until stamped parts fulfil specifications. Operate conventional machines such as drill, radial drill, milling, tapping, lathe, and grinding machines. Apply and uphold safety measures, ensuring proper use of PPE and compliance with company HSE practices. Maintain assembly area in good order and cleanliness (5S compliance). Ensure all tools and spare parts are properly stored and preserved in the designated CED store. Participate in company improvement programs such as

Kaizen, Safety, and 5S initiatives

Requirements

Certificate / Diploma in Mechanical, Tool & Die, or related field. Minimum

2-3 years' experience

in die assembly, maintenance, or stamping tooling (automotive / manufacturing environment preferred). Ability to read and interpret technical and assembly drawings. Hands-on skills with conventional machining tools. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Good teamwork, communication, and safety awareness.

Basic Salary:

RM1,700 - RM2,500 (depending on experience).
