Assess residents' nutritional needs based on medical history, dietary restrictions, and clinical conditions.
Develop, monitor, and review individualized meal plans in collaboration with the nursing and kitchen teams.
Provide nutrition counseling and education to residents, families, and caregivers.
Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure meals are prepared according to approved menus and dietary guidelines.
Monitor residents' weight, dietary intake, and health progress, adjusting meal plans as needed.
Ensure compliance with all food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
Conduct regular menu reviews and nutritional audits.
Participate in multidisciplinary care meetings to provide input on residents' nutritional care.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of assessments, plans, and follow-ups.
Stay updated with the latest developments in nutrition and dietetics to improve service quality.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field.
Minimum 1-2 years of working experience in a healthcare, hospital, or nursing home setting.
Strong understanding of medical nutrition therapy and dietary management for elderly patients.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Attention to detail and commitment to residents' health and well-being.
