Grab led consortium has been selected to receive a digital banking license in Malaysia, subject to meeting all of BNM\'s regulatory conditions. Malaysia digital bank will accelerate access to financial services for underserved Malaysians. Get to know the Role:

Work closely with the Product, UX/UI and Backend teams to design, build and extend consumer and/or partner facing new products, platforms and features.

Build reusable Android software components for the mobile platform.

Collaborate with QA on continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) as well as other automated and manual testing to make sure our app releases are always worthy of five star ratings.

Monitor the performance of the live apps and continuously improve them on both code and experience level.

Raise the bar by reviewing each other\xe2\x80\x99s code, share knowledge, tips and tricks, and generally help out - within and across teams. This may include pair programming.

Evaluate new mobile methodologies and technologies: ML, AI, AR

Lead Collaboration with stakeholders across teams and roles, to identify and resolve ambiguous, multi-dimensional business, legal, and product needs.

Work closely with the engineering team to explore and create new design/architecture geared towards scale and performance

Take part in interview loops to help us continue hiring top industry talent.

The must haves:

A degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology or related fields.

8+ years of professional software development experience, including at least 5 years in Android development experience

Up-to-date on the modern Android programming paradigm, including the use of RxJava and/or Kotlin.

Strong computer science fundamentals (with competencies in algorithms and data structures).

Deep knowledge and expertise in Android systems design and internals

Deep understanding of the CI/CD implementation

Strong UX/UI design exposure and experience in making apps work intuitively and with pixel perfect interfaces.

You have working knowledge of several architectural approaches, caching, data storage and security.

You are highly accountable and take ownership. You also have a collaborative attitude, because \xe2\x80\x98Your Problem Is My Problem\xe2\x80\x99 (YPIMP).

Possess excellent communication, sharp analytical abilities with proven design skills, able to think critically of the current system in terms of growth and stability.

Works well with teammates, treats them with respect, and is a positive influence on those around you, is always willing to help your teammates when needed and does what you can to make sure the team is successful.
