Our client, a professional services firm, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Digital Forensics Incident Responder to join their dynamic team in Kuala Lumpur. This role will play a critical role in protecting organisations from cyber threats by investigating incidents, collecting and analysing evidence, and coordinating with other security professionals to ensure a swift and effective response. Responsibilities: Respond to and investigate cyber security incidents in a timely and efficient manner Collect and analyse digital evidence from various sources, including computer systems, mobile devices, and network logs Utilise digital forensics tools and techniques to identify the scope and root cause of incidents Document and report incident findings in a clear and concise manner Collaborate with other security professionals, including the Security Operations Center (SOC) and legal teams, to mitigate risks and remediate incidents Develop and implement incident response plans and procedures Stay up-to-date on the latest cyber threats and trends Participate in security training and awareness initiatives Qualifications: Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field Minimum 2+ years of experience in digital forensics and incident response Proven experience using digital forensics tools and techniques Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment Certifications such as SANS GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), SANS GIAC Reverse Engineering Malware (GREM), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or CompTIA CySA+ are preferred If you are keen to take your career to the next level, do apply to this role now!
