Digital IT Project Manager

Degree in Computer Science or related computing studies

Minimum 6 years of experience in IT project management

, specifically in software delivery with in-house development teams At least

2 years of technical or functional experience in banking systems

1 year of experience as a Scrum Master

Strong knowledge of Agile practices, Scrum techniques, and artifacts (DoD, user stories, backlog management) Proficient in

Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills Highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to continuous improvement Ability to resolve problems creatively and mentor team members PM, PSM, or other relevant certifications are advantageous but not mandatory

Responsibilities

Drive and manage digital IT projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies Define, track, and validate project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources Identify and resolve project risks, issues, and deviations proactively Ensure compliance with internal policies, including IT spend approvals, RFP/RFI procedures, and SDLC standards Manage vendor relationships, including planning, tracking deliverables, and validating payments Lead scrum teams, remove impediments, and coach teams toward higher maturity Collaborate closely with business partners in virtual banking and other stakeholders Deliver software increments used by millions of customers across Maybank's digital ecosystem Provide clear and concise project reporting and stakeholder communication

Key Accountabilities

Lead software delivery using Agile and/or Waterfall approaches Manage project demand, resource mobilization, and planning Ensure compliance with governance processes and enterprise architecture policies Initiate and manage IT spend approvals and project budgeting Provide project reporting and maintain alignment with business and IT stakeholders Drive speed-to-market delivery based on MVP principles Foster agility, compliance, and continuous improvement across project teams

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM12,300.00 per month
