Serves as the operational bridge between senior leadership and team managers. Responsible for overseeing departmental operations, driving process effectiveness, tracking performance metrics, and facilitating innovation, quality assurance, and cross-departmental collaboration.
Main Duties
Operational Leadership & Coordination
Translate the department's strategic goals into measurable targets and actionable plans.
Manage operational activities and initiatives across different functions and units.
Oversee project timelines, monitor progress, and ensure cooperation among departments.
Policy & Process Management
Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for digital-learning operations and project workflows.
Ensure compliance with institutional policies, regulatory requirements, and data-governance standards.
Handle budgeting, procurement, and vendor-management responsibilities.
Data-Driven Decision Making
Gather and analyse data from LMS platforms, learner feedback, and engagement dashboards to support reporting.
Detect recurring patterns, derive insights, and propose data-informed improvements.
Lead continuous improvement programmes to enhance efficiency and scalability.
Requirements
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Educational Technology, Instructional Design, Education or a closely related field.
At least five years of experience in digital-learning development and LMS administration--preferably in higher-education settings with supervisory responsibilities.
Technical & Contextual Skills
Experience managing major LMS platforms (e.g., Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard).
Demonstrated success working collaboratively in multi-stakeholder, diverse environments.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree (in progress or completed) in a relevant discipline.
Familiarity with video editing and authoring tools (such as Articulate, H5P) and with accessibility standards.
Experience in multi-institutional, online or blended-learning contexts.
