What to expect:

• Our 20-month Digital Trainee Programme will give you insights into the various activities that take place in Digital Hub Kuala Lumpur.
• You will familiarize yourself with various topics across various systems, and how it works in the larger BASF landscape.
• Gain a comprehensive understanding of unit-specific and cross-unit tasks.
• After just a short time, you will assume responsibility for exciting projects or subprojects.
• You will be assigned to four rotations, each lasting approximately five months each.
• Upon successful completion of your rotations, you will have the opportunity to do an all-expense paid rotation in Germany, to expand your network and further develop your intercultural skills.

Responsibilities
Order Management Solutions creates, delivers, and runs digital applications for users managing sales & distribution activities in the movement of goods between BASF divisions and end-customers. Working agilely, we enable functionality of core systems & processes. We partner and consult with stakeholders to innovate solutions proactively across multiple technology platforms to anticipate future needs.
The product has the vision to offer an integrated platform, incl. Fiori apps, machine learning and automation to enable efficient handling of orders and providing full order transparency from creation to delivery. The team is responsible for development and operations of the respective SAP applications.
As a trainee of our Order Management group and SAP Fiori development team, we are responsible for building and continuously developing Fiori applications in the order management area (SAP SD, OTI), providing the best possible applications to end-users looking for order management in global level.

• You will gain valuable practical experience and be part of a highly motivated, global, and agile development team.
• You will also take on your own development work in the SAP HANA and Fiori environment.
• Additionally, you will test newly implemented functionalities from a technical and business perspective. Exchange in a daily basis with users focusing on change management, understanding the users needs and future improvements.
• In direct contact with users around the world, you will ensure that our applications bring added value to BASF in daily use

Requirements

• Fresh graduates, or individuals with a maximum of 2 years' working experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Informatics, Business Informatics or in a comparable field with minimum 3.2 CGPA or Second Upper equivalent.
• Knowledge in Full Stack programming & familiar with JavaScript language (eg. Node.js), software development life cycle, and Data Integration Technologies (e.g. Kafka) or developing integration flow (iFlows)
• You can communicate clearly and authentically in English (spoken and written).

Nice to Have

• Functional knowledge of SAP SD processes or supply chain knowledge
• Familiarity with Agile / SCRUM
