An exciting Digital Workplace Engineer job has just become available at one of the banking firms based in Kuala Lumpur.

About the Digital Workplace Engineer Role:
This is a senior role, and you are responsible for providing support for all technical aspects of the digital workplace ensuring maximum efficiency. You will continuously help to modernise the digital workplace ecosystem and ensure that every component of its lifecycle is well managed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, configure and install Unified Endpoint Solutions and Virtual Desktop infrastructure. Provide BAU/Project support with troubleshooting, upgrades and general maintenance
• Support for iOS, Android, Mac OS, Windows 10, etc. Desktop and server support for troubleshooting
• Research, evaluate, and recommend new or upgraded hardware/software to ensure proper operation and performance for the Digital Workspace platform
• Work with vendors for product enhancement announcements and other issues. Apply network skills to help in solving UEM and VDI issues
• Identify, access, and use resources for troubleshooting and training

To succeed in this Digital Workplace Engineer role, you must have five years experience in VMware Workspace ONE suite of products, vCenter, ESXi and Horizon.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Electronics, or related technical degree from an appropriately accredited institution
• Minimum of five years experience in VMware Workspace ONE suite of products, vCenter, ESXi and Horizon
• Familiar with software installation procedures is a requirement. Must be internet savvy. General working knowledge of MS Windows and Apple macOS with relevant experience in supporting desktop and enterprise server environments
• Three or more years of work experience in IT, with experience in desktop and mobile device management, security and compliance, user authentication, single-sign-on and virtualisation, etc.
• Good working knowledge in scripting such as Microsoft PowerShell, Windows 10, Windows 11, Windows Server 2016 and 2019, General Mac OS experience and working knowledge and MS Exchange 2013, 2016
