Role Responsibilities To assume all the Relationship Management responsibilities for a defined set of BBD clients in Standard Chartered\'s Financial Institutions Group in Malaysia. Summary To act as an integral and pivotal member of the team who should possess exemplary values, an ability to work effectively across the bank\'s footprint and have a relentless approach to delivering for our clients. Key requirements include effective origination skills, relevant product knowledge and specific knowledge and experience in identifying and managing all Risks - (i) On-boarding, (ii) Financial Crime (incl. client activity reviews), (iii) Regulatory, (iv) Transactional, (v) Operational, (vi) Credit and (vii) Reputational Emphasis will be placed on appropriate assessment of credit, reputational, regulatory and operational risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the SC\'s reputation and safeguarding its clients, compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to internal policies, and maintaining ethical judgment regarding personal conduct Candidate will be required to maintain a well-informed and forward-looking view of the client business, stay current on all aspects of the assigned portfolio, including industry trends, portfolio performance and pipeline, compliance with internal policies, potential risks and opportunities. Prepare and present on-boarding memos, credit discussion memos and client pitch books. Lead client on-site or telephonic diligence meetings. Maintain a strong working relationship with Product, Financial Credit Risk, Legal and Compliance and other key stakeholders. Lead segment initiatives. Regulatory & Business Conduct Display exemplary conduct and live by the . Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct. Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters. Qualifications Highly motivated individuals with a strong experience across Credit, Banking, and Financial Markets. Superior analytical aptitude, creative problem solving abilities and excellent communication skills. Solid financial evaluation and excel abilities Knowledgeable in the provisions of regulations pertaining to the banking and finance industries, especially in Malaysia. Strong knowledge of balance sheet management, credit risk management, liquidity management, interest rate risk management, and derivatives.
