Location(s): MalaysiaCity/Cities: Kuala LumpurTravel Required: 26% - 50%Relocation Provided: NoJob Posting End Date: October 29, 2024Shift: Summary:We are recruiting a Director, Franchise Operations for our Malaysia business, to be based in Kuala Lumpur on a permanent basis.Responsibilities for the Director will include:

  • Ensures business results and alignment between the local operating unit and our bottling franchise partners.
  • Overseas operations in the territory of Malaysia supervising all operations, adding to that identifying and capturing new opportunities across the franchise.
  • Leads the growth agenda with bottler\'s operations aligned with the regional strategy. Manages new opportunity mapping, strategic, operational, and commercial projects involving the bottler.
  • Responsible for orchestrating Coca-Cola network initiatives and securing bottling partners\xe2\x80\x99 alignment and flawless execution
  • An agent of change, the Director will be a key player in the system\xe2\x80\x99s transition to the new operating model and ways of working.
  • Responsible for achieving business growth in KO and Bottler, by shaping and implementing core capabilities and managing franchise leadership within Complete Portfolio, multi channels and the Coca-Cola System.
  • Leads the implementation of Coca-Cola Company\xe2\x80\x99s vision, with strong connections internally and externally, able to identify business opportunities and translate them into concrete actions with an agile and effective decision making.
  • Manages and articulates the day-to-day operations of the franchise; working very close with the Frontline teams. Co-leads localization of plans; monitors evolution of key indicators to achieve BP objectives (e.g. share, transaction, Revenues, volume); leads communication flow between Bottler and KO concerning priorities, programs, address market issues and performance; executes strategies with bottler & 3rd partners; cooperates with bottler to ensure local relevance and alignment with overall business; reviews and implements revenue growth opportunities/solutions.
  • Manages projects and leads the RTM, execution and commercialization from concept to launch; establishing business systems and procedures and KPIs
  • Develops processes and systems to increase sales effectiveness and maximize resource allocation. For example: design a segmentation model to leverage and develop operational capabilities to address local opportunities based on customized needs
  • Ensure NARTD Growth, on the top of Business Plan execution.
  • Regarding new products this position has two main responsibilities: identify market insights, risks and opportunities and communicate them timely and effectively to the frontline team from marketing, commercial strategy and innovation functions to be considered as input for current innovation processes.
  • Wire with their peers to ensure best practice sharing and alignment across the territory.
Experience required
  • +7 years within the Coca-Cola System or similar FMCG company
  • Experience in a franchise model or equivalent, where leading through influence play a key role.
  • Desired: Bottler Marketing and Commercial experience.
  • Recommended: Sales, Marketing, Commercial Strategy Experience and Understanding of retail (Horeca, Modern, Traditional Channel), Route to Market and Revenue Growth Management
