Job description

• Build up and lead a Gallium-Nitride technology development team with high-level experts and technical project managers
• Provide and grow required know-how and capacity to enable and staff GaN technology, innovation, and predevelopment projects
• Support product development projects by enabling product reticle runs and corresponding electrical assessment in Kulim wafer fab
• Closely work together with fab unit process and process integration teams and actively support technology transfers from other manufacturing sites
• Enable and support strategic international and cross-site cooperationwith IFX GaN development teams in Europe, USA, and Japan.
• Enable highly effective and efficient development procedures andskill-sets in Kulim GaN technology development team. Ensure thatguidelines and business processes are followed.
• Align and plan unit process and operations resourcerequests/requirements and budgets. Identify basic restrictions ofdevelopment work and elaborate solutions (e.g. human resources, enablingmanufacturing tools, capacity, wafer start corridor, etc.)
• Perform resources pipe-line management for upcoming development activities. Elaborate planning and align/request resources also from other departments and organizations (operations, quality, failure analysis, etc.). Manage resource loading.
• Support initiation and elaboration of funding proposals as well as their execution, including deliverables, reporting etc.
• Elaborate and present concise slide decks for project results, issue descriptions, solution paths, equipment needs, strategic planning, etc.

Your profile

• University education in electrical engineering, physics or equivalent with a Master or preferably PhD degree.

10 years of industrial experience in semiconductor manufacturing and/or development. * Excellent leadership and people management skills, also acquired in project management and leadership trainings.

• Profound know-how on power devices, GaN epi and HEMTs, as well as corresponding manufacturing processes.
• Deep understanding of technology development procedures and road mapping processes.
• Able to lead, organize and coordinate multiple projects in a timely manner.
• Superior Leadership & Management skills to lead highly competitive teams in multi-cultural and international environment.
