Job Description




The Director of Banquets will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of banquet operations, from planning and coordination to execution and client satisfaction. This leadership role requires a strategic thinker with excellent organizational and communication skills to ensure the success of diverse events hosted at our venue.

Key Responsibilities:

Event Planning and Coordination:

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their event requirements and preferences.
  • Plan and coordinate all aspects of banquet events, including setup, catering, audio-visual needs, and decor.
Team Management:
  • Recruit, train, and supervise banquet staff, including servers, event coordinators, and set-up teams.
  • Provide leadership and direction to ensure a cohesive and efficient team.
Client Relations:
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and special requests.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to foster repeat business and positive word-of-mouth.
Budget Management:
  • Develop and manage banquet budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
  • Monitor expenses, revenue, and profitability for each event.
Quality Control:
  • Implement and enforce high service standards to guarantee client satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure the quality of banquet set-ups, food service, and overall event execution.
Logistics and Operations:
  • Coordinate with various departments, including catering, kitchen, and facilities, to ensure smooth event operations.
  • Address and resolve any operational issues or challenges during events.
Work Experience
  • Proven experience in banquet or event management, with a focus on high-end venues.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a keen eye for quality and guest satisfaction.
