Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Malaysia\'s Industrial Division is recruiting on behalf of a leading MNC in Biotechnology, a company that innovates and revolutionise new solutions for everyday treatment. Our esteemed client has a global presence and manufactures various pharmaceutical products to treat patients across 120 different countries. They are seeking an experienced Director for Engineering to carry out planned preventive maintenance on all plant and equipment aiming to achieve maximum plant availability with a target of zero unplanned downtime. The job will be based in Johor, Malaysia.

Job Responsibilities:

• To raise communication memo for Preventive Maintenance.
• To always maintain availability of spare parts of all equipment and ensure no downtime due to non-availability spare part.
• To respond, carry out and record equipment maintenance activity effectively and efficiently.
• Observation and rectification of equipment/ machines condition and detection of unusual conditions in a proactive manner.
• Ensure all equipment is operated and maintained as per the manufacturer\'s recommendation.
• Familiarization with the manufacturing process and related equipment.
• To communicate with external vendor for site services/ repair.
• Daily reporting of activities and updating any issues at work to the superior.
• Support commissioning/ validation activities that include FAT/ SAT/ DQ/ IQ/ OQ and PQ.
• To attend, record and conduct all training required as per training matrix/ schedule.
• Generate various document procedure/protocol/report as and when required.
• Fill log sheets/ checklist/ history card/ planner as described in the SOPs.
• Follow the established procedures and policies of the company.
• Participate in project activity on process optimization, facility upgrade, or objective.
• To propose objectives and targets on work area and comply to set timeline.
• Participate in cost and energy management program.
• To conduct/ participate and ensure smooth running of any audits (Internal and external) related to QMS and EHS management system.
• To provide feedback and ensure all the audit findings are closed within the stipulated time.
• On routine basis to provide improvement proposal on equipment, process, or quality system.

• Must possess at least Bachelor\'s Degree or Master in Mechanical/Electrical engineering, and related discipline or equivalent.
• Candidate should have a basic understanding of chemical process in bio-product manufacturing or machineries.
• Pharmaceutical background is preferred.
• Good presentation and communication skills
• Good problem solving and analytical skills.
• A leader in training, guiding and mentoring team members.
• Good command in both spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia
