Job Description
Organization- Park Hyatt Kuala Lumpur Summary You will be responsible for the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International\'s Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations. Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, the Director of Events is responsible to ensure the smooth and efficient operations of the Events department, covering both the catering sales as well as convention services functions of the hotel. Qualifications Due to work permit restrictions, this position is only open for Malaysian Citizen and Permanent Resident of Malaysia. Ideally with a university degree or diploma in Hospitality or Event Management. Work experience in a similar capacity in a luxury international hotel brand is preferred. Extensive experience in event planning and event sales are essential. Result driven, good problem solving, communications and interpersonal skills are a must.
