Director of Rooms

We are looking for Director of Rooms

As a Director of Rooms, we rely on you to

• Be responsible to provide guest services, supervision, direction and leadership in the Rooms Division with the objective, performance and quality standards established by Shangri-La Group and the hotel.
• Planning, developing, implementing and evaluating the quality of rooms in the property.
• Positioning of works with direct reports to develop and implement departmental strategies and ensures implementation of the brand service strategy and brand initiatives.
• Ensures Rooms operations meet the brand\'s standards, target customer needs, ensure employee satisfaction, focuses on growing revenues and maximizes the financial performance of the department.
• Develops and implements property-wide strategies that deliver products and services to meet or exceed the needs and expectations of the brand\'s target customer and employees and provides a return on investment to the owner and company.

We are looking for someone who:

• Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years\' experience in an international or similar class hotel / resort
• Professional, presentable, articulate and fluent in oral & written English
• Ability to interact, display initiative and able to lead and motivate the team
• Commitment to professional values and integrity
• Able to work flexible hours
