We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Director of Sales - Corporate to join our team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This key leadership role will drive our corporate sales strategy, ensuring revenue growth and market leadership in the region.
Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies for corporate clients, aligning with overall business objectives
Lead, mentor, and supervise the sales team, setting clear performance targets and providing ongoing coaching
Identify and secure new business opportunities, cultivating strong relationships with key corporate clients
Oversee the management of key accounts, ensuring exceptional service delivery and client satisfaction
Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and client feedback to maintain a competitive edge
Collaborate with the commercial team to develop innovative pricing strategies and sales packages
Manage departmental budget and oversee sales-related contracts, agreements, and proposals
Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, pipeline status, and market analysis to senior leadership
Champion interdepartmental collaboration to deliver cohesive and memorable service experiences
Act as a visible role model for the highest standards of professionalism and brand representation
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
5-7 years of progressive experience in corporate sales, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role
Proven track record of successfully managing and leading corporate sales teams to achieve revenue targets
Demonstrated expertise in strategic sales planning, account management, and business development
Strong understanding of corporate sales market trends and best practices
Proficiency in CRM and sales management systems
Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Outstanding leadership and coaching abilities, with a proven ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams
Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and public speaking skills
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret market data and make informed business decisions
Results-oriented with meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Innovative mindset, constantly seeking creative ways to secure new business opportunities
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Strong network within the corporate sector
Willingness to travel for business development and client meetings
Knowledge of the Malaysian business culture and corporate landscape is a plus
