Job Description

As the Distribution Supply Chain Manager for SEA, you will play a pivotal role in optimising the supply chain processes, enhancing operational efficiency, and ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products to customers. You will be responsible for managing a high-performing team, collaborating cross-functionally with various departments, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to achieve our distribution and logistics goals.

• Distribution Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive distribution strategy for the SEA region that aligns with the company\'s overall supply chain and business objectives.
• Warehousing and Inventory Management: Oversee the management of multiple warehouses across the SEA region, ensuring efficient space utilisation, accurate inventory tracking, and proper stock levels to meet customer demand.
• Distribution Logistics: Coordinate and manage the end-to-end distribution process, including customs clearance, freight forwarding, transportation, and last-mile delivery, while maintaining cost-effectiveness and delivery accuracy.
• Supplier and Vendor Relationships: Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and third-party logistics partners to establish strong working relationships, negotiate favourable terms, and ensure timely and cost-efficient transportation of goods.
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply chain team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of distribution and logistics operations, and implement corrective actions as needed to achieve operational excellence.
• Process Optimisation: Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the distribution and supply chain functions to enhance efficiency, reduce lead times, and minimise operational costs.
• Risk Management: Mitigate potential risks and disruptions in the supply chain, proactively addressing issues related to transportation delays, customs regulations, and other logistical challenges.
• Compliance and Regulations: Stay up-to-date with relevant regulations, trade policies, and customs procedures in the SEA region, ensuring full compliance with local and international requirements.

• Bachelor\'s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
• Proven track record of at least 8 years of experience in supply chain management, with a focus on distribution and logistics operations.
• Strong understanding of international trade, customs regulations, and freight forwarding processes, particularly within the SEA region.
• Prior experience in managing and optimising warehousing, inventory, and distribution logistics for a multinational company.
• Proficiency in using supply chain management software and technology to streamline operations and improve visibility.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse team of professionals.
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, particularly in high-pressure situations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external partners.
• Analytical mindset and data-driven approach to process improvement and performance optimisation.
• Flexibility to travel as needed within the SEA region.
