Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

• Provides IT support for Logistics Applications e.g., Warehouse Management System, Transport Management System, Freight Management System etc.
• Training will be provided
• Manages and track all incidents and service requests to resolution; ensuring that SLAs are met.
• Monitors applications proactively to detect and resolve any application performance degradation or unavailability; ensuring availability is as close to 100% as possible.
• Eliminate outage and other production interruptions with appropriate individuals/groups.
• Ensuring effective communication and coordination
• Performs program modification and program deployment when needed
• Performs program QA and QC when needed
• Produce reports from the supporting applications when needed
• Oversee the responsibilities of the team and improve the team\'s proficiency
• Provide onsite applications support around the globe

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least Degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Computing or equivalent
• Candidate must be able to read, write and speak fluent English to support our operations globally; Chinese language would be an added value to support our Operations in Chinese language-oriented Countries
• Candidate must base in Malaysia
• Open to fresh graduates
• Working experience in supporting Logistics applications would be an added advantage
• Knowledge in complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, triggers, and functions in any RDBMS would be a plus
• Proficiency in the JAVA Programming Language would be a plus
• Must be able to multi-task under pressure independently and deliver results within given timeframe
