To manage the project's Information Management systems, ensuring all data, drawings, and correspondence are accurate, accessible, and stored in accordance with the Client's Project Manual.
Key Responsibilities:
System Admin:
Administer the Common Data Environment (CDE) - (e.g., Aconex, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or Procore). Manage access rights and workflows.
Quality Assurance:
Audit incoming and outgoing documentation (RFIs, Submittals, Drawings) for formatting, revision control, and metadata accuracy.
Workflow Management:
Track overdue submittals and RFIs, chasing the GC and Design Team to prevent delays in the approval cycle.
Reporting:
Generate weekly logs on document status to support the Schedule Lead's reporting.
Closeout:
Lead the compilation of the Final Handover Pack, including O&M Manuals, As-Built Drawings, and Warranty Certificates.
Training:
Train the GC and new team members on the project's document control procedures.
Requirements:
Experience:
5-8 years in Document Control for large construction or oil & gas projects.
Software:
Expert proficiency in EDMS platforms (Aconex, ACC, SharePoint).
Attributes:
Meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and process-driven mindset.
