This is a highly successful Malaysian owned international freight forwarder with a strong international network. Currently they are looking for logistics candidates to assume the role of Freight Administrator (for documentation) to take full responsibility for the preparation of punctual and precise documentation for all destination across national country borders. In this regard, the successful applicants must have an exceptional telephone manner as this role requires extensive liaison with Clients, Overseas agents, Shipping liners and other departments within the business. Roles & Duties \xc2\xb7Create Bills of Ladings-export declarations. \xc2\xb7Ensure the correct profiles are chosen or created for all parties. \xc2\xb7Confirm the Bill of Lading is in compliance with the master submitted by the Shipper/ forwarder. \xc2\xb7Ensure all related charges are protected on the bill of lading and proper cost accounts are in place. \xc2\xb7Actively seek required documentation from shippers. \xc2\xb7Prepare and maintain vessel files. \xc2\xb7Assist customers/agents with questions, complaints, requests or track and trace. \xc2\xb7Double check container and seal number and load manifests. \xc2\xb7Issue client/agents invoices. Candidate profile Malaysian female ideally with previous experience in handling documentation/shipping administration role within the forwarding logistics industry. Fresh graduates (without work experience) but who have been educated up to tertiary education level (Diploma/degree) and looking to begin your career with the logistics industry. Possess good customer service skills. Driven and bright individual with the ambition to grow within a company. Proficient in English, BM and Mandarin. Experience within the shipping industry highly desirable but not absolute mandatory.
