Security Supervisor
Job Description
-Patrols and monitors assigned area; reports suspicious activities to local authorities.
-Monitors surveillance cameras, inspects property, and monitors crowds.
-To record all daily occurrences in the Assignment Log
-Reviews and signs off on Security team reports and logs before they are turned in.
-Screen visitors before allowing them to enter the premises.
-Conducts routine area checks during the shift.
-Maintain all security devices and products in good working condition.
-To act as a first line support for shift officers who encounter incidents or difficulties and escalate as appropriate to the team. ---To be the first line response to emergencies
-To monitor all electronic security systems including fire alarms, CCTV and patrol management and be competent in their operation.
-To immediately report any systems malfunction
-To carry out any investigations as required and to ensure reports are completed for the Management.
-Ensures that all policies and procedures are followed by security team
-Ensures that reports are written as needed and completes all report logs.
-Coordinates with local law enforcement and related personnel as required to support and/or conduct investigations and prosecutions.
-Evaluate, assess and analyze performance of security personnel.
-Initiate disciplinary measures wherever necessary.
-Carry out other duties as assigned
