1. Create preliminary design sketches for conceptual analysis
2. Create engineering drawings and designs for production and manufacturing
3. Verify drawings are correct to specifications, codes, and other regulations
4. Developing technical reports for engineers
5. Ability to operate computer-aided design (CAD) software and manual drafting workstations
6. Ability to multitask and manage several projects at a time
7. Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
