Job Description

Responsibilities

Produce accurate 2D and 3D drawings, floor plans, elevations, and technical layouts for hospitals, clinics, laboratories, and other healthcare environments. Prepare MEP drawings according to project specifications. Ensure all drawings comply with Malaysian regulations including Uniform Building By-Laws (UBBL), MOH Facility Guidelines, and local authorities' requirements. Coordinate with architects, engineers, medical equipment planners, and contractors to refine designs and solve technical issues. if necessary. Update drawings based on mark-ups, design revisions, and site feedback. Conduct site visits to perform measurements, verify existing conditions and support project documentation. Assist in preparing as-built drawings upon project completion. Ensure proper file management and documentation in line with company standards.
Qualifications

Diploma or Certificate in Drafting, CAD Technology, Architecture, Engineering Technology, or related field. Minimum 2 years of drafting experience, preferably in healthcare, hospital, medical equipment, or similar technical environments. Strong proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit, SketchUp or BIM tools is an added advantage. Familiarity with Malaysian building standards, healthcare facility layouts, and medical equipment spacing requirements. Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings accurately. Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management skills. Good communication skills and ability to work independently or within a project team.
Preferred Skills

Experience with medical gas piping layouts, cleanroom design, sterile workflow, or MEP coordination. Previous involvement in hospital renovation projects or new healthcare facility builds. Understanding of Malaysian regulatory submission processes (BOMBA, Local Authority, MOH).

Pay: RM2,600.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
