Job Summary

The M&E Draughtsman is responsible for preparing detailed technical drawings and plans for mechanical and electrical systems in construction projects. This includes coordination drawings, as-built documentation, and ensuring compliance with design specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare

technical drawings

for M&E systems using AutoCAD or BIM software. Interpret and translate

engineers' sketches and specifications

into accurate drafts. Produce

coordination drawings

, sections, elevations, and detailed layouts. Conduct

site visits

to verify dimensions and capture as-built conditions. Update and maintain

drawing registers

and documentation. Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other draughtsmen to ensure design accuracy. Ensure all drawings comply with

local codes, standards, and project requirements

. Assist in resolving design conflicts and participate in coordination meetings.

Requirements

Diploma or Certificate in

Mechanical/Electrical Engineering

, Drafting, or related field. Proficient in

AutoCAD

, and preferably

BIM software

(e.g., Revit, ArchiCAD). Ability to read and interpret

architectural and structural drawings

. Strong attention to detail and

problem-solving skills

. Good communication skills in

English and Bahasa Malaysia

; Mandarin is a plus. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team. Possess own transport and valid driving license for site visits.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
