Job Description

We are looking for a Drama Teacher who loves teaching and has a strong grasp of the subject. The perfect candidate should be able to energize and motivate students while nurturing their passion for drama.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• To teach primary/secondary classes with some administrative duties as directed by your supervisor;
• Teach about 75 percent weekly load; if the teaching load is lower, other related responsibilities will be allocated, which may include but are not limited to, school events and student welfare;
• To provide a variety of learning experiences that actively engages students and are appropriate for their individual needs;
• To participate in extracurricular activities such as social activities, sporting activities, clubs, and student organizations;
• To keep up to date with developments in the subject area, teaching resources, and methods;
• To perform all other duties relating to the above that may be assigned to you by your supervisor from time to time.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree majoring in Drama/Theatre Arts or its related field of studies
• Can work in Kuala Lumpur/Subang Jaya/Springhill, Port Dickson
• Excellent command of English in both written and spoken
• At least 3 years of teaching experience in a school setting
• Good communication skills and time management skills
• Willing to work in a team and follow instructions given
• Dedicated and passionate about education
• Able to work extra hours when required
• Having a positive attitude, with a friendly and outgoing personality
• Having the ability to teach drama in IGCSE is essential
