Job Description

Prepare

mechanical and piping drawings

, layouts, and isometric drawings using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other relevant CAD software. Interpret

engineering sketches, specifications, and data

to produce detailed drawings and documentation. Develop and update

P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams)

and

General Arrangement (GA) drawings

. Coordinate with

engineers and project teams

to ensure design intent and constructability requirements are met. Revise and maintain

as-built drawings

and ensure proper document control and drawing numbering. Assist in

3D modeling

, piping routing, and clash detection studies (if applicable). Ensure all drawings and documentation comply with

company standards, and client specifications

. Support site and fabrication teams by providing

technical drawings and clarifications

when required. Maintain organized drawing records and version control as part of

document management procedures

.

Qualifications & Requirements

Diploma / Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Piping Design, or equivalent.

Minimum

2-5 years

of relevant experience in mechanical and piping drafting, preferably in

oil & gas, petrochemical, power plant, or industrial projects

. Proficient in

AutoCAD

,

Plant 3D

, or other relevant CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, MicroStation, PDMS). Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drawing preparation. Good communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with engineers and site teams. Able to work independently and meet project deadlines under minimal supervision.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
