Requirements

• Possess a Diploma / Degree in Engineering or a related technical field, providing a solid foundation for understanding engineering principles and practices.
• Demonstrate proficiency in technical drawing and drafting techniques, essential for creating accurate and detailed engineering drawings.
• Exhibit a strong understanding of engineering design principles, enabling the creation of effective and functional designs.
• Possess hands-on experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks), showcasing the ability to create and modify designs efficiently.
• Demonstrate the ability to interpret and understand blueprints, ensuring accurate execution of designs and specifications.
• Exhibit meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in all drafting and design work.
• Demonstrate familiarity with drafting standards and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
• Possess effective communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin, facilitating clear and concise communication with colleagues and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare technical drawings, plans, and detailed drawings based on engineering designs and specifications using CAD software.
• Utilize AutoCAD and SolidWorks to create 2D and 3D models of components and assemblies, ensuring accuracy and adherence to drafting standards.
• Review engineering drawings and designs to ensure adherence to established specifications and standards, identifying and resolving any discrepancies or errors.
• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to understand project requirements and translate them into detailed technical drawings.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of all drawings, revisions, and related documentation.
• Interpret blueprints, sketches, and other engineering documents to create detailed drawings for manufacturing and construction purposes.
• Apply detailing techniques to ensure that drawings are complete, accurate, and suitable for fabrication or construction.
• Contribute to problem-solving efforts by identifying potential design issues and proposing solutions based on drafting knowledge and experience.
