Job Title: Drafter/Draughtsman

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Drafter with a background in automotive systems and mechanical design to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings and plans used in various projects, ensuring that all specifications meet industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and prepare detailed drawings and plans for engineering, or manufacturing projects using CAD and SolidWorks software. Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and specifications. Revise and update existing drawings as needed to reflect changes in project design or scope. Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, regulations, and standards. Conduct site visits to gather information and assess project requirements. Maintain organized records of drawings and project documentation. Knowledge in Adobe Illustrator will be an advantage.

Qualifications:

Associate's degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field. Experience in mechanical drafting/design, preferably in the automotive, heavy equipment industries. Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar). Familiarity with hydraulic systems, fabricated steel structures, weldments, and mechanical assemblies. Strong understanding of drafting techniques and principles. Attention to detail and accuracy in technical drawing. Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in a specific industry (e.g. sheet metal fabrication and manufacturing). Familiarity with 3D modeling software. Knowledge of building codes and regulations.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
