Drilling Supervisor \xe2\x80\xa2 Conducts DWOP, Pre-spud and Completions Meetings \xe2\x80\xa2 Oversee and ensure the drilling operations are in line with the programs provided by CLIENT in order to ensure drilling is carried out in a safe and efficient manner \xe2\x80\xa2 Implement workforce plans in order to meet drilling, HSSE and costs objectives \xe2\x80\xa2 Oversee the offshore drilling operations in line with the programs provided by CLIENT in order to ensure drilling is carried out in a safe and efficient manner \xe2\x80\xa2 Continuously monitor the actual operations against the operational plan and cost reports to ensure optimal performance and maximize the cost-effectiveness of the operations as well as minimize any non-productive time. \xe2\x80\xa2 Provide guidance to resolve difficult and unusual problems in order to eliminate any delay in the operations. \xe2\x80\xa2 Reviews planned work activity; assist in program development & direct execution. \xe2\x80\xa2 Chairs daily operations, logistics and HSSE meetings with Drilling Rig Contractor & Service Providers for enhanced understanding and clarity on logistics, HSSE, manpower, equipment and drilling related issues. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure safe working environment at work site. \xe2\x80\xa2 Monitor cost performance and ensure Contracts management are optimized. \xe2\x80\xa2 Encourage continuous improvement. Logistics \xe2\x80\xa2 Review, approve and distribute weekly operations \xe2\x80\x9cLook Ahead\xe2\x80\x9d projections for helicopter and boat schedule as well as movement of personnel to ensure smooth continuity of on-going operations and enough people resources are available on the rig in a timely manner. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure daily activities of drilling operations & logistic in accordance with company management system. \xe2\x80\xa2 Combined Operations \xe2\x80\xa2 Work closely with onshore and offshore Production, Logistic, SSHE, Geology Reservoir and Construction Teams in order to ensure smooth integration of all combined operations in line with operational objectives \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure SIMOPS/SIPROD and relevant bridging documents are in place for multiple/simultaneous drilling and production operations to be performed. Health, Safety and Environment \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure all processes are carried out in line with company policies, procedures and regulations and international standards in order to ensure a safe working environment so that the safety of employees, quality of products/services and environmental compliance can be guaranteed. \xe2\x80\xa2 Cascade/implement and ensure compliance with Company\xe2\x80\x99s HSSE Policies. Continuous Improvement \xe2\x80\xa2 Make recommendations on improvements in procedures and processes or techniques in order to contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices considering \xe2\x80\x98international best practice\xe2\x80\x99, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement Reports \xe2\x80\xa2 Report to the Drilling Operations Team Lead on all issues, problems and progress in order to keep management informed and facilitate decision making \xe2\x80\xa2 Prepare relevant departmental reports timely and accurately to meet company and department requirements, policies and standards \xe2\x80\xa2 Report on incidents, accidents or environmental incidents in line with company policies Qualification: \xe2\x80\xa2 Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Petroleum Engineering or other relevant engineering degree with a drilling background. \xe2\x80\xa2 Valid IWCF Level 4 Combined Well Control Certification, BOSEIT and TSBB certifications. Experience: \xe2\x80\xa2 Min of 15 years of offshore drilling experience as Senior Drilling Supervisor on Jack-up, Semi-submersible and tender assist drilling rigs in the Oil & Gas industry including extensive PMCD experience and minimum of 8-years in a Drilling Superintendent position. \xe2\x80\xa2 The candidate shall preferably have minimum 5-years offshore drilling experiences in South East Asia with at least 3 years working experience in Malaysia. \xe2\x80\xa2 HPHT/MPD drilling experience would be an added advantage.
