KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Assist Transport Regulator to monitor the vehicle sent to workshop, verify, and ensure that all repair works, services, and parts replaced / fixed are satisfactory and safe for use and in good working condition.
• Assist Transport Regulator for the renewal of Road tax, Puspakom Inspection, Fitness Test, DOSH Inspection and LPKP permit.
• Assist in conducting the vehicle smoke test programme.
• Assist in vehicle breakdown/accident on site and liaise with person-in-charge before arranging with panel workshop for repair.
• Ensure compliance with Journey Management Guideline (JMG).
• Perform and ensure vehicle cleanliness, warm-up, and inspection for pool vehicles.
• Chauffeur for senior officer and staff as and when instructed and ensure all official itineraries are well taken care of without failure or disruption.
• Attend to any transport arrangement for events within the region or power station.

QUALIFICATION & WORK EXPERIENCE:

• Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (credit in BM and English) with relevant working experiences minimum 2 years.
• Good driving skills & have knowledge on vehicle inspection (require valid driving license).
• Basic knowledge in automobile servicing and maintenance.
• Familiar with GPS software/application for journey management plan.
• Basic knowledge in Microsoft Office Application.

SPECIAL ASPECTS/MAJOR CHALLENGES OF THE JOB:

• Meet customers both internal & external expectations & demands with aging vehicles and limited budget for replacement due to cashflow optimisation.
• Demand

Supply (availability of drivers & vehicles), especially when transport request is at short notice.

Preference will be given to internal candidate.
