Overview



The Offshore Personnel Driver is responsible for safely transporting personnel and equipment to and from offshore installations. This role requires a high level of responsibility, attention to detail, and adherence to strict safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Vehicle Inspection



- Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections of assigned vehicles to ensure they are in safe operating condition.

- Check tire pressure, fluid levels, and overall vehicle integrity.

2. Safe Transportation



- Transport personnel and equipment to and from offshore installations in a timely and safe manner.

- Adhere to all maritime regulations and company safety policies.

- Navigate challenging marine conditions, including rough seas and inclement weather.

- Ensure the securement of all cargo and personnel onboard the vessel.

3. Emergency Procedures



- Respond effectively to emergencies, such as engine failure, equipment malfunctions, or medical incidents.

- Implement emergency procedures as outlined in the company's emergency response plan.

4. Documentation



- Maintain accurate and up-to-date logs of all trips, including departure and arrival times, weather conditions, and any incidents.

- Complete required paperwork, such as vehicle inspection reports and accident reports.

5. Maintenance



- Report any maintenance issues or required repairs to the appropriate personnel.

- Assist with basic vehicle maintenance tasks as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:



- Valid commercial driver's license

(CDL)



- Extensive experience in marine vessel operations, including navigation and maneuvering in challenging conditions.

- Strong understanding of maritime regulations and safety protocols.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Physical fitness to withstand long hours, physically demanding work.

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Additional Requirements:



- Must be able to pass a pre-employment and physical examination.

- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and work under pressure.

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: From RM1,700.00 per month
