Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Operate assigned vehicles as required, ensuring safe and courteous transportation.
- Maintain defensive driving practices at all times.
- Assist passengers, including those with disabilities, in and out of the vehicle.
- Keep the vehicle clean and in a roadworthy condition.
- Perform daily cleaning of the assigned vehicle, both inside and outside.
- Conduct maintenance checks of the vehicle before and after use.
- Report any vehicle defects to the Company and follow up on necessary maintenance.
- Coordinate scheduling for major vehicle maintenance with management and staff.
- Report any accidents or mechanical issues to the Company promptly.
- Provide assistance in accident or medical emergencies by notifying emergency services and administering First Aid if required.
- May be required to travel outstation and stay overnight.
- Perform additional duties assigned by direct superiors or Company Directors.
- Provide updates on the progress of assigned duties to the direct superior.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Prior experience as a driver is preferred.
- Familiarity with Kuching roads and traffic regulations.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work efficiently.
