Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Drone Payload Engineer to join our team in Malaysia (Johor)/ Singapore. The Drone Payload Engineer will lead the integration of Electroluminescence (EL) inspection camera payloads for enterprise drones. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and multitasking skills, as well as a strong technical background in embedded system programming, craft prototyping, and working with suppliers for pilot production.

Responsibilities

Payload Integration:

Lead the integration of EL inspection payloads for enterprise drones, ensuring seamless functionality and performance. Collaborate with the Frontend Drone Operation team to design and implement innovative solutions for onsite inspections.

Embedded System Programming:

Develop and maintain embedded software for drone payloads, ensuring reliable and efficient operation. Troubleshoot and resolve any software-related issues.

Prototyping:

Create and test prototypes of drone payloads, ensuring they meet design specifications and performance standards. Iterate on designs based on testing results and feedback.

Supplier Coordination:

Work closely with suppliers to manage the pilot production of drone payloads. Ensure timely delivery and quality of components and materials.

Technical Oversight:

Maintain and troubleshoot drone payload equipment, ensuring all systems are functioning correctly. Implement new technologies and processes to improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Proven experience in embedded system programming and drone payload integration Strong technical background in embedded systems, craft prototyping, and working with suppliers for pilot production. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in relevant software and tools for embedded system programming and prototyping. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM15,000.00 per month
