Work you\'ll do

The candidate will work with a team of highly motivated advisory professionals in the Assurance Department and will be tasked with helping clients navigate technical accounting challenges related to e.g.: * Mergers and acquisitions;

• Restructuring (including common control transactions);
• Employee compensation plans;
• Revenue contracts;
• Leasing contracts;
• IFRS convergence and implementation; etc.

Requirements

The candidate should possess a degree in accounting with relevant professional qualifications with at least 3 years of relevant audit or accounting advisory experience in a professional practice. The candidate should also possess the following: * Deep knowledge and experience in application of the International Financial Reporting Standards (\xe2\x80\x9cIFRS\xe2\x80\x9d) (e.g., audit or accounting advisory);

• Keen interest in identifying and addressing accounting issues;
• Keen interest and inquisitiveness in performing in-depth research on IFRS matters (including deep dive into the \'whys\' of certain accounting requirements);
• An open mind (including open to challenge current convention and providing out of box solutions)
• Good proficiency in the English language - written and spoken
• Good communication skills and enjoys interactions with various stakeholders.

The following would be a plus: * Good understanding of interaction between accounting principles and related local tax implications.

• Possess knowledge and experience in carbon credits accounting;
• Possess in depth knowledge of other accounting standards aside from IFRS.
