Passionate about working with children ages 1-6 Want to be part of a global community teaching a researched play-based curriculum from Finland Curious about integrating technology, nature, and cultural values while nurturing young children We\'re looking for: Lead Educator Assistant Educator RESPONSIBILITIES Participate/Assist in the planning and implementation of lessons according to the Finnish HEI Schools curriculum and local curricula guidelines Participates/Assist in designing and organising the learning environment Maintains the cleanliness and upkeep of the learning environment Participate in the clean up of the learning materials, including the disinfecting of the materials and equipment used for each lesson Conducts the activities according to lesson plan, schedule, and procedures such as morning circle and storytime Assists/guide children in their daily routines as needed such as mealtime, dressing, and toileting Engages and interacts with children such as reading and playing with them, including children who are not in their designated class Supervise children at all times Provides fun-filled activities during transitions and evening times Prepares for the new month together with the lead teachers and principal Participates in and assists in organising school events or family events such as Sports Day, Family Day, etc Interacts with families to provide feedback about their children Provides daily updates to the families through the school app such as sharing photos, videos, routine information, and weekly/monthly newsletters Observes children and complete evaluation forms when needed Attends staff meetings, parent meetings, and teacher training as required Update children\'s portfolio and learning plan as needed Participate in monthly online support, led by our pedagogical expert from Finland REQUIREMENTS Open to Malaysians, PRs and any SE Asian Nationality Diploma/Bachelor\'s Degree in Early Childhood Education/Psychology/Music/Arts/related Certification in Phonics program, STEM, or other early education teaching methods is an advantage Good command of English (reading, written, spoken) Critical thinker and problem-solver Enjoys music, dance, and the outdoors Willing to work within a team Willing to work in inclusive education setting Lively, proactive, and fun personality Creative, flexible, and a good team player Updated in latest teaching practices Willing to learn new researched-based approaches in Early Childhood Education and Child Development Experience with special needs children is an added advantage Atleast 1-2 years of formal working experience with young children is preferred, but fresh graduates are welcome to apply BENEFITS Be a part of HEI Schools global community Hands-on training & support from Finland\'s early childhood education experts Sponsored continuous education opportunities (HEI Schools Diploma) Training for professional development Yearly salary increment Low teacher:child ratio Medical insurance (after 1 year of service) mental health support Overtime allowances Learning material claims competitive salary STARTING PERIOD Immediate - March 2024 LOCATION Persiaran Multimedia, Cyberjaya, Selangor For further information about HEI Schools, visit heischools.com.
