Position Overview

The eCommerce Content Administrator is responsible for maintaining accurate, consistent and high-quality product information across our online platforms. This role focuses on updating spreadsheets, enriching product data, and writing product descriptions.

Key Responsibilities

Product Data Maintenance

Update product attributes such as size, colour, materials, SKU codes and pricing. Ensure consistency across all product records following internal naming standards. Upload or update product information in spreadsheets and internal systems. Check for missing, duplicated or incorrect data and correct it promptly.

Data Enrichment

Fill in missing product details based on supplier info or internal references. Standardise product names, categories and attributes for search accuracy. Ensure all product content meets required formatting guidelines.

Product Description Writing

Write clear, simple and accurate product descriptions based on templates. Rewrite supplier descriptions into customer-friendly copy. Maintain consistent tone, wording and style across all listings.

Quality Control

Review product listings to ensure accuracy before publishing. Cross-check data with supplier sheets, internal documents and product images. Flag discrepancies or unclear information to the team.

Skills & Competencies

Intermediate Excel knowledge. Good written English and attention to detail. Ability to follow templates and maintain consistency. Comfortable with repetitive tasks and routine workflows. Resourceful in searching for missing information.

Nice to Have

Experience with eCommerce platforms. Basic understanding of product content or merchandising Ability to use AI tools responsibly to speed up copywriting
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,600.00 - RM3,000.00 per month

Petaling Jaya: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
