JOB SUMMARY

The E-Commerce Manager/ Assistant Manager is a key driver of the company's online success, responsible for the strategic, operational, and marketplace aspects of e-commerce. This role requires adaptability, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple platforms and responsibilities effectively.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

E-commerce Strategy

: Develop, communicate, and execute the company's e-commerce strategy to achieve sales and profit goals in all ecommerce channels. Identify market trends, consumer behaviour, and emerging technologies to inform strategic decision-making. Set objectives, budgets, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Website& Marketplace Management:

Oversee the e-commerce website, ensuring it is user-friendly, responsive, and mobile-optimized. Collaborate with web development teams to implement updates, enhancements, and bug fixes.

Marketplace Selection and Expansion:

Research and evaluate online marketplaces, develop strategies to expand the business's presence, and ensure compliance with business goals.

Online Marketing

: Oversee,Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, content marketing, and social media advertising. Monitor website traffic and user behaviour to optimize marketing strategies.

Product Catalog Management

: Maintain and update product listings with accurate descriptions, images, and pricing. Ensure intuitive product categorization and organization.

Customer Experience:

Focus on optimizing the entire customer journey, from initial browsing to post-purchase support. Implement A/B testing and user feedback mechanisms to enhance the user experience.

Inventory Control:

Manage inventory levels, forecast demand, and collaborate with suppliers and fulfilment partners for efficient stock management in all ecommerce channels

Analytics and Reporting

: Use web analytics tools to track and measure KPIs. Adjust strategies based on data analysis to optimize sales and ROI.

Performance Monitoring:

Track product performance on website & marketplaces, analyzing sales data, click-through rates, and conversion rates. Adjust marketing strategies to boost sales on underperforming platforms.

Competitor Analysis:

Continuously monitor competitors' activities, pricing strategies, and product offerings on marketplaces. Use competitive intelligence to adjust pricing, marketing, and product strategies.

Technology Integration

: Explore and integrate emerging e-commerce technologies and tools to streamline operations and enhance the customer experience.

Budget Management:

Develop and manage the e-commerce budget, monitoring expenses and optimizing spending.

Cross-functional Collaboration

: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of e-commerce operations. Any other tasks assigned by superior from time to time

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
