JOB SUMMARY: The role of Education Consultant will be responsible for provide helpful advice on educational standards, practices and procedures and specialised training and education. Develop teaching and learning goals for students and staff, create grading scale and testing schedules or determine appropriate content for different grade levels. As Education Consultant\xe2\x80\x99s duties include meeting with clients, understanding requirements, conducting data analysis, presenting findings, formulating plans, arranging training, evaluating progress and staying updated in their field. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 1. To counsel and assist students to make best-informed decision. 2. To develop and enhance the counselling services. 3. To follow up on student enquiry/application/acceptance. 4. To maintain student database. 5. Identify and respond to the needs of students and/or educational institutions. 6. Work with clients to understand their problems and develop a solution using education theory. 7. Present your ideas and solutions in an effective way. 8. Gather, disseminate, and share best practice. 9. Use, develop and support assistive technologies. 10. Understand jargon, acronyms, and specialist vocabulary within an education setting. 11. Work effectively with teachers, education leaders and learning organizations. 12. Work to a professional code of conduct and ethics and remain impartial. 13. Organize or facilitate events and workshops. 14. Record client progress data, such as improved student test grades and graduation rates 15. Prepare clear and easy-to-follow presentations that illustrate client success to share with prospective clients and stakeholders. 16. Deep knowledge of local, state, and federal education policies and regulations. 17. To build excellent relationship with representatives from institutions. QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED \xc2\xb7 Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in any discipline (Business Studies/ Administration/ Management/ Marketing/ Commerce or Mass Communication graduates are preferred); \xc2\xb7 At least 3 years of working experience would be an added advantage. \xc2\xb7 Knowledge and understanding of local and foreign education system preferred. \xc2\xb7 Experience in mentoring and counseling students an added advantage. \xc2\xb7 Courteous, patient, and tactful personality with strong customer service orientations. . Possess a high level of initiative, integrity, and professionalism. OTHER ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT(S) \xc2\xb7 Mobile and willing to travel. \xc2\xb7 Good interpersonal skills, analytical skills, critical thinking skills in order to problem solve and find solutions. \xc2\xb7 Details-oriented, Pleasant, organized, discreet, trustworthy, proactive, and mature personality. \xc2\xb7 A passion for education \xc2\xb7 Excellent copywriting, editing and proofreading skills. \xc2\xb7 Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel \xc2\xb7 Working knowledge of communication and presentation skills in order to effectively convey your ideas, referencing the education theory underpinning your work. . Time management skills and the ability to work on more than one project at once. WORKING HOURS Monday - Friday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Saturday: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month Benefits:
