Job Description
:
Operate and monitor all units of the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP). Perform routine inspections of equipment, pipelines, and control systems to ensure proper functioning. Monitor water quality parameters (pH, COD, BOD, TSS, oil & grease, etc.) through on-site testing and laboratory sampling. Record and maintain accurate operational logs, reports, and data for regulatory and company compliance. Report any abnormalities, equipment failures, or process deviations. Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, environmental standards, and safe work practices at all times.
Job Requirements:
Minimum High School / Technical Diploma in Chemical, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent. 1-3 years of experience in wastewater treatment / effluent treatment plant operation, preferably in oil & gas, petrochemical, or heavy industry. Knowledge of water/wastewater treatment processes and related environmental regulations. Familiarity with pumps, valves, chemical handling, and laboratory testing procedures. Basic computer skills for reporting and record-keeping. Physically fit, safety-conscious, and able to work in shifts.

Pay: RM1,500.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
